How does the trial work? Will I get charged? +

Every tier starts with a free trial — 14 days on Sapling, 60 days on Trunk and Canopy as a launch promo. Card details are taken upfront, but $0 is charged during the trial. Cancel anytime in your trial, pay nothing. We email a 7-day heads-up before the first charge so you don't get caught out. After the trial ends, monthly billing kicks in at $9 (Sapling), $19 (Trunk) or $49 (Canopy).

What does the Sapling tier give me? +

All 10 knots in Knots 101, posting access in #general-bs (the smoko room), 1 draw entry per month, rank progression up to Rigger, and four starter patches. It's the entry tier — the lowest commitment way to be a paying member. The other 4 open rooms, the 5 Canopy pro rooms, the advanced courses and the bigger draw multipliers all sit on Trunk and Canopy.

Can I win the prize without being a paying member? +

Yes. Australian trade-promotion law requires a free entry method, and we have one — anyone can submit a no-cost entry on the rewards page. No signup, no card. Members earn entries through activity instead, with multipliers: Sapling 1× (1/month cap), Trunk 2× (10/month), Canopy 5× (no cap). The free entry path keeps the draw legal and fair.

What if I forget to cancel before my trial ends? +

We send a 7-day heads-up email and a 24-hour reminder before the first charge. If you still get charged and didn't mean to, email us within 7 days and we'll refund the first month, no questions. We're not in the gotcha business.

Can I downgrade Canopy → Trunk or Trunk → Sapling? +

Yes, anytime. Downgrades take effect at your next billing date. Your XP, patches, lessons completed and rank progress all stay — you just lose the higher tier's content access and entry multiplier. Switch back up whenever you want.

Is this for workers, or for bosses? +

Both — and that's the point. Workers, bosses, contractors and operators all share the open rooms (smoko, gear, war stories, tree ID, tips). Bosses, contractors and senior crew get the 2 Canopy rooms — the Canopy Lounge for shop talk and the Hiring Yard for finding work or hiring contractors / operators / drivers. The vibe is mates around a smoko, not a corporate Slack. Safety and shared knowledge are how this trade gets better, and that doesn't happen if half the crew is excluded.
